supertips^tm采用专利技术，所有15根测试丝的直径的都在0.8mm，受测的接触面积具有高度的均一性。配合电子测痛仪使用，用于触觉阈值（sensory threshold）测量。

supertips测试丝采用特殊pp材质，受温度、湿度影响小，也有利于减少实验误差，因此测试结果准确性高，可以直接用于评估痛阈，而不需复杂的计算。
